Slavery is the most abhorrent chapter in America's history. Everyone knows it happened, but few people know much about it or want to think about it. Which means that it's not exactly something that pops up with regularity in popular entertainment--even though slavery's legacy, 150 years after the Emancipation Proclamation, is still very much with us.

Granville Academy Open House was fantastic.

We are so proud of the over 10 alumni who returned back to Granville to speak with the youth and parents. Paying it Forward!

Garrett Griffin, Jr (Alumni) was the lead of the project along with the Granville Student Open House Committee. Yes, this successfultwo day function was organized by our youth.  Future Leaders of America.

OPPORTUNITIES IN THE DESIGN FIELD ARE GREATER THAN THEY MAY appear. However, aspiring designers are often discouraged from pursuing careers in the arts because of the perception that there is no money to be made. But today, more than ever, technology has extended its influence on the design world and created a variety of career opportunities that will extend into the future. Behind everything we touch and see is a designer.
