Granville Academy and the Silas Bronson Library will be celebrating American history in February. Open to the Public.

Opening Ceremony will take place a the Mattatuck Museum 144 West Main St. on Sunday, January 29 at 4:00 pm.

January 31: Guest Author Sulayman Clark Book Talk & Signing The Rains: Voices at Bronson Library for American Liberty 267 Grand Street

Granville Academy is planning to attend the 38th Annual Convention is NSBE's premiere event encompassing members from around the world. The convention will be in Pittsburgh, PA from March 28 - April 1, 2012. During the convention, there will be various programs and workshops in place to benefit grade school, collegiate, graduate, technical professional, and international NSBE members. The convention will showcase NSBE culture, membership achievements, local and national talent, and black-owned businesses in the Pittsburgh area.

Registration forms for Granville Academy active students are available from Ojetta James and online.  A $25 deposit will reserve your spot.

Granville will be leaving on March 29 and returning April 1.
